This job is for unit 7A, a 21 bed medical / surgical unit sees a variety of medical conditions, treating the adult and geriatric population. Cardiac telemetry monitoring also utilized on this unit. This unit is 70% Cardiac Telemetry patients with the other 30% being complex Medical patients. As a medical cardiac step-down unit, this unit treats cardiac conditions including CHF, post MI, angina, cardiac drug toxicity, post pacemaker insertion, A-fib, dysrhythmias, and patients requiring administration of select continuous infusion of cardiac medications or oral drug therapy for dysrhythmias.  

We are seeking a Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) to join our growing team in the Hyperbaric Medicine department. The CHT is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related systems, providing support for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) under the direction of a licensed physician. This role requires strong attention to safety, excellent patient care skills, and technical expertise. The job description of the Hyperbaric Technician is in accordance with the requirements of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), The Joint Commission (TJC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
