Overview
Environmental Services Aide
VHC Health is looking to add another Aide / Housekeeper to our Environmental Services team. The main roles in this position include cleaning and sanitizing rooms in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital including operation room suites.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly cleans patient rooms within the quality standards established by the Director of Environmental Services:
- Performs terminal patient room cleaning procedures, prepares room for new occupant, and observes isolation procedures for isolation cases.
- Uses specific cleaning/disinfecting/sanitizing agents and ensure that all bottles are properly labeled.
- Able to clean OR Suite when necessary.
- Arranges furniture and equipment in a neat, orderly fashion after cleaning.
- Dust mops and wet mops floors, vacuums carpets, and replenishes supplies
