Position Title

Cybersecurity Program Manager

Job Description

Purpose & Scope: 

The Cybersecurity Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing the cybersecurity program to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and the overall security strategy. This role serves as the operational backbone of the CISO organization, providing oversight of cybersecurity initiatives, budget management, vendor governance, roadmap execution, and knowledge management.

 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is required.

 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience managing cybersecurity, technology, or governance programs is required.
  • Experience with budget management, vendor management, and project portfolio tracking.
  • Strong organization, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and project management tools.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls is preferred.

 

Certification/Licensure: 

  • PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or related certifications preferred.
