Position Title

Nutrition Services Aide - Retail

Job Description

Purpose & Scope: 

The Starbucks kiosk barista will receive orders and payments, prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation.

 

Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

 

Experience: 

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a barista preferred

Other Qualifications

  • Basic math & counting skills required
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

 

Certification/Licensure: 

Food handling certification preferred

Working Conditions: 

Food & Nutrition: Works in a well-lighted/ventilated setting. Regular exposure to extreme cold and heat. Subject to frequent interruptions. Willing to work beyond normal working hours when requested to do so. Minimal occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, or musculoskeletal injuries. May encounter patients, family members, co-workers, and visitors under all conditions, e.g. hostile and/or emotionally upset.
