Purpose & Scope:
The Senior Mammography Technologist, Quality Control & MQSA Compliance is responsible for providing high-quality breast imaging services while overseeing system wide mammography quality control (QC), ensuring compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), and managing patient mammography result letters across all facilities within the health system. This role serves as the system-wide subject matter expert for mammography quality, regulatory compliance, and standardized patient communication, working collaboratively with radiologists, physicists, technologists, and administrative leadership to maintain the highest standards of care and regulatory readiness.The Senior Mammography Quality Control Technologist & MQSA Compliance Lead is responsible for providing high-quality breast imaging services while overseeing system wide mammography quality control (QC), ensuring compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), and managing patient mammography result letters across all facilities within the health system. Education:
Associate’s degree in radiography is required or,
Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required
Experience:
Certification/Licensure:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) required.
ARRT(M) is required.
