Value Analysis Director

Job Description

Purpose & Scope: 

The VHC Health Supply Chain Value Analysis Director is responsible for leading and managing the value analysis process within the hospital's supply chain operations. This role involves collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to evaluate and optimize the procurement and utilization of medical products and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Reporting to the AVP of Supply Chain, the Value Analysis Director will oversee the Value Analysis Analyst and will evaluate supply chain performance in clinical areas, identify trends, evaluate performance from revenue standpoint, decision support and provide insights to inform decision-making.

 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related or supply chain field is required.

Master's degree preferred.

Additional experience (5 years) direct SCM value analysis experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.

 

Experience: 

5 years of SCM experience in Value Analysis is required.

Nursing or clinical background is preferred.

 

Certification/Licensure: 

Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional Certification (CVAHP) is preferred.
