Workday Supplier Specialist

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Workday Supplier Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of suppliers into the Workday ERP and Workday Strategic Sourcing systems. This role is responsible for the data integrity of the supplier records within ERP system.  This role provides valuable insight into the engagement of suppliers by VHC stakeholders.  The Workday Supplier Specialist will partner with various teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounting, and executive and senior leadership to develop detailed business requirements and supplier strategies for the benefit of VHC Health.  This role will require experience in procurement processes to help guide the Strategic Sourcing team to create solutions to business challenges within supplier management. This individual will review, process, manage and monitor supplier onboarding information, supporting due diligence processes, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Additional experience considered in lieu of education requirement: Three (3) years Supply Chain Management.

Experience:

Three (3) years of SCM, Procurement, or SCM Operations is required.

Experience with ERP systems; Experience with Workday Suppliers is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None required.
