Purpose & Scope:
The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist is responsible for coordination and process management of the full HR scope of pre-employee onboarding requirements. This individual will work in conjunction with recruitment teams to ensure compliance as it relates to Human Resources and Hospital policy, practice, job description, federal/state and regulatory/board requirements. The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist will maintain data integrity and validation with regard to each aspect of pre-employment compliance across all systems, databases and procedures with a focus on strategic process improvement and streamlining. Responsible for assistance with new hire orientation.
Management of duties are performed with proficient use of technical skills and also soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, time management and organization with the ability to successfully work under strict deadlines. Accountability/ownership and effective communication and follow through with the ability to adhere to detail, accuracy and thoroughness are expected.
Education:
High school diploma is required.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience in administrative support in a high-volume setting is preferred.
To years of experience in new hire onboarding or a similar role is preferred.
Two years of experience in human resources or healthcare is preferred.
Two years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
