The Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Specialist will report to the Strategic Sourcing Manager and support the VHC Health’s supply chain management by assisting in the strategic sourcing and procurement of medical and non-medical supplies. This role is crucial in drafting, negotiating and managing organization-wide contracts to ensure that the hospital maintains a cost-effective and efficient supply chain, contributing to the overall quality of patient care. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will manage new and existing contracts and facilitate request for proposals (RFP), conduct competitive bidding, conduct financial and return on investment (ROI) analyses, conduct vendor business reviews, monitor supplier performance and compliance and participate in the contractual relationship with respective business owner(s) and supplier(s). This role will proactively review spend patterns and market pricing to achieve best financial and operational value through supplier contracts. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will work in concert with multiple departments across VHC Health to maximize value achieved through supplier contracts and relationships.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Additional experience considered in lieu of education requirement: One (1) year Supply Chain Management.
One (1) years of SCM, Procurement, or SCM operations is required.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
